Crawford played four seasons of ACHA Division II hockey from 2005-2009, two of them for Florida Gulf Coast University. In 2009, Crawford helped lead the team to FGCU’s first ACHA Division II National Championship game, finishing 2nd in the nation. After graduating, Evan was eager to continue with the team. His leadership qualities were evident, not only on the ice, but as a successful Head Coach for DIII during the 2009-2010, and 2010-2011 seasons. After returning home to Michigan for several years, Evan is excited to be back behind the bench with FGCU. He was instrumental as Co-Head Coach during the 2015-2016 season, once again guiding the DIII team to play in the DIII National Tournament. Crawford is excited for the 2016-2017 season and expects the team to compete for the DIII National Championship. Outside of hockey, Evan currently works as Regional Marketing Director for luxury resorts in Florida and the Caribbean.
